What are the guidelines for determining a child's age?

Player Age in both baseball and softball is determined by Little League International. Please refer to the player age eligability info under the documents section of the CLL Page.

Does my child have to attend evaluations?
Players that are league age 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 MUST attend baseball evaluations to be placed on a team.

Can my child be on the same team as a friend/neighbor for car-pooling purposes?
You can request that a player be paired with another player at any time before the season begins. We try to honor these requests as much as possible in the younger divisions; however we cannot guarantee any request because our first goal is team parity.

Can girls play in a boys division?
Little League rules allow girls to play on a boys’ team.

How can I get more involved?
A good way to start is by attending monthly CLL board meetings; we welcome input and ideas from everyone.

Check the Facebook Site under Events and the Calendar for exact times and locations.

Do I have to volunteer?

We are an all-volunteer organization and will ask each family to participate in various volunteer events throughout the season.  Typically, these opportunities will be communicated to you through your Board Members and/or Coaching staff.

We have opportunities to volunteer for Coaches, Fundraising, Non Coaching Roles, as well as various committees through the year.

Do I need to submit a background check to volunteer?

We make every effort possible to protect our children. As part of that protection and as part of Little League International, we perform thorough background checks on all volunteers who have substantial contact with our children (managers, coaches and team parents).

This nationwide background check covers all applicable government sex offender registry data. The background check goes beyond the minimums originally required to include a nationwide criminal and sex offender search.

How are the results of background checks handled?

If there are any offenses on your report, you will receive a copy in the mail directly from First Advantage, which performs the checks for Little League International.  The background check process (including results) is strictly confidential.

How do the practice and game schedules work?
Practice and Game Schedules will be published in Late February/Early March for Machine Pitch, Atlantic, Coastal Divisions and Tee Ball. Juniors, it will be mid March.

Practices are organized typically once per week, but could be two.

There are usually one or two games per week on a rotating schedule.

Generally, each time will have 2 "events" per week, but with weather, this could increase.

We will try to have the season over by the end of the school year, with the end of year tournament happening that last week or so of school.

Games/Practices are played weeknights beginning at 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 pm.

Must I attend my son's or daughter's practices and games?

YES. The best support you can be to your child’s Little League career is to experience it with him or her. Please attend, participate, and volunteer as much as possible.

When does an injury require reporting?

You must report an incident that causes any player, manager, coach, umpire, or volunteer to receive medical treatment or first aid, or if there is a concern that further medical evaluation may be required.

A team manager must complete the Incident/Injury Tracking Report and submit it to the league safety officer within 48 hours of the incident. The form should be filed in the Safety and Security Officer’s mailbox located in the Snack Stand.

Please contact the Safety and Security Officer if you need assistance or further information.

What if I have a question or concern?

You should first ask your team manager, coach or team parent. If they are unavailable, please contact the commissioner of your child's division.  Additionally, you can email any board member by clicking on the email link within their profile on this website.

Any general questions can be e-mailed to [email protected]
